Overview

(BST: 8:00 - 18:00 (Mon/Thurs) 8:00 - 16:00 (Fri))

Access Talent Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Waste Water Hydraulic Modeller for an office in Scotland. You will be part of a growing Urban Drainage and network modelling team working on Utilities networks for a number of water companies’ frameworks. You will work in a collaborative team at the forefront of digital engineering and Smart machine applications.

Responsibilities
  • Construct, verify, and maintain various levels of wastewater models.
  • Deliver feasibility studies, model use studies, optioneering, and development assessments for wastewater networks.
  • Ensure quality of modelling outputs and compliance with standards, specifications, and governance requirements.
  • Project management of small projects.
  • Maintain strong and collaborative working relationships and interactions with clients.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with other team members to provide technical support and assistance.
  • Operate in accordance with the corporate health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • 7 years in the modelling sector
  • Experience modelling from either a consultancy or water company
  • Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a relevant subject area
  • Not essential but advantageous to be Chartered with CIWEM
  • Working knowledge of GIS Systems (preferably MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS)
  • Skilled in the manipulation and handling of large datasets
  • Demonstrable experience in discipline-specific data analysis packages (water-focused such as InfoWorks or InfoAsset)
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Hybrid working 3 days a week in the office
