Qualifications

Tennial Personnel are actively seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Warehouse Operative to join a well‑established logistics operation based in Felixstowe. This is a full‑time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:30, with an annual salary of £30,171.96. This role offers an excellent opportunity to take on greater responsibility within a busy, safety‑focused warehouse environment – supporting smooth operations and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a range of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including Counterbalance, MLOP, and Flexi trucks.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain stock accuracy.
  • Support, coach, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high performance and teamwork.
  • Deputise for the Team Leader when required, ensuring operational continuity.
  • Carry out duties as a responsible person, including Fire Marshal, First Aider, and Racking Inspector responsibilities.
Skills Required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
  • Confident working at heights of up to 5 metres.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
  • Reliable, proactive, and safety‑conscious.
Qualifications Required
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
  • Experience operating Flexi or HLOP trucks (preferred).
