  • Salary: £25,194 per annum
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends
  • Location: Aldershot

Your Role:

  • You will support the Stores Manager in delivering an efficient, accurate, and compliant sports stores service by leading the day-to-day activities of Storekeepers.
  • You will provide hands‑on operational oversight, mentor junior team members, and ensure safe and effective materials handling in line with ADSL procedures.
  • You will be a key part of the talent pipeline, preparing individuals for future supervisory roles.
  • You will lead the daily coordination of Storekeepers under the direction of the RQMS (Unit).
  • You will oversee correct use of stores processes for goods in/out, labelling, and location tracking.
  • You will promote and enforce compliance policies and procedures.
  • You will promote and enforce compliance with ADSL QHSE policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: You will have GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) and be manual handling trained (or have the willingness to undertake).
  • Experience: Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or store’s role is essential, as is having strong knowledge of stock handling and materials movement. Awareness of workplace safety (COSHH, manual handling, etc) and the ability to follow structured processes and maintain accurate records is also a role requirement.
  • Skills: You will need to be proactive and reliable, with a strong attention to detail, and be confident in prioritising tasks whilst supporting junior team members. You will also be team‑oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
