Job summary

Fittleworth Medical, a UK home delivery service for stoma, urology and continence products, is seeking a Senior Warehouse Associate for our National Distribution Centre in England. The role focuses on accurate goods receipt, replenishment, movements and safe stock handling to support performance targets.

The position may involve night or day shifts depending on business needs, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and KPI achievement within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse or distribution operations.
  • Basic computer literacy including Excel and warehouse systems.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods against documentation.
  • Replenish stock locations to maintain efficiency.
  • Record stock movements using warehouse systems.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, damages and stock issues promptly.
  • Safely move stock using manual handling and equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts.
  • Support cycle counts and stock-taking activities.
  • Assist in picking, packing and dispatching orders when required.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and compliant work environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and KPIs.

Summary

The Senior Warehouse Associate supports efficient warehouse operations in the National Distribution Centre by accurately receiving, replenishing, moving, and managing goods. The role ensures data accuracy, inventory integrity, operational safety, and the achievement of performance targets while contributing to a collaborative, inclusive, and continuous‑improvement‑oriented work environment. The position may involve night‑shift or day‑shift duties depending on business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against documentation.
  • Replenish stock locations to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Accurately record stock movements using Warehouse Management Systems.

  • Maintain high accuracy in stock handling, data entry, and documentation.
  • Perform manual handling tasks and operate warehouse equipment safely.
  • Support workflow continuity across replenishment, goods movement, and fulfilment tasks.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Education and Work Requirements
  • Experience in warehouse or distribution operations.
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely.
  • Basic computer literacy, including Excel and warehouse systems.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Education and Work Preferences
  • FLT or pivot‑steer licence (desirable).
  • Experience in goods‑in, replenishment, or stock control.
  • Familiarity with WMS or ERP platforms.
  • Experience working night shifts or supervising workflow (desirable).
  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma (advantageous).
