Job summary

Lumentum is seeking a Shift Engineer for the Wafer Fab at Caswell, Northampton. You will provide equipment engineering support to Manufacturing and Process Engineering, perform fault finding, repair, and maintenance to maximise uptime and OEE, with exposure to hazardous chemicals and SCBA as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment (5+ years).
• Ability to document procedures, generate work instructions, risk assessments and method statements.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Repair and preventive maintenance of semiconductor processing equipment and related systems.
• Oversee chemical, gas and spare parts control, chemical fills and waste management.
• Mentor equipment technicians and junior equipment engineers.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to maximise uptime and OEE.
• Produce monthly reports on equipment performance and project status.
