Job summary

The Vet Office is recruiting on behalf of a modern, purpose-built veterinary hospital in Rotherham for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive clinical team.

We are seeking a candidate with at least 3 years of small animal GP experience, confident in exams, diagnostics and routine surgery, and who values high standards of care, client communication and ongoing professional development in a busy, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in small animal general practice.
• Confident in routine medical and surgical procedures.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Team-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality first opinion veterinary care.
• Perform consultations, diagnostics and surgery.
• Promote preventative healthcare and client education.
• Work closely with an experienced nursing and veterinary team.
• Maintain excellent clinical standards and patient care.
• Contribute positively to a friendly and supportive team culture.
