We are looking for a senior veterinary surgeon to support our veterinary team alongside our clinical director. We are looking for someone who enjoys teaching and would be keen to get involved in the support of our new graduates, Surrey student teaching and schedule 3 nursing.

We are a team of 6 vets with a range of experience and interests, including a diagnostic imaging & medicine advanced practitioner and another studying for an ECC certificate. We are proud to have supported new graduates, who have stayed with us for many years and are a Surrey host practice for final students, whom we love hosting.

Our team is keen to support your passions and interests, and a certificate would be supported if desired.

As a practice, we are passionate about high clinical standards. We host monthly vet team meetings, clinical discussions, in-house practical training and whole practice meetings. Our nursing team has a wealth of experience and interests, and we are particularly passionate about nurse utilisation and promoting schedule 3 skills.

Our recent refurbishment has given us a new, additional consultation room and cat ward. In addition, we have a high-quality ultrasound machine, with linear probe, and endoscopy.

We are committed to wellbeing with several active wellbeing champions in practice, encourage work-life balance and love to treat our staff - this year's treats have been lunchtime garden walks, pottery painting, boat party and a comedy night.

The role is40 hours per week for full-time. No OOH. A part-time rota will be considered.

This role is located in Tilehurst, Reading which is commutable from Pangbourne, Thatcham, Newbury, Wallingford, Basingstoke, Wokingham, Bracknell, Henley-on-Thames, Maidenhead and other surrounding locations in the Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire counties.
