Job summary

Vets Now in Sheffield is seeking a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to lead our Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) team. You will set clinical standards, mentor clinicians and drive service improvements while delivering outstanding care for critically ill pets.

The role is full-time and permanent, averaging 40 hours per week with rota nights and weekends as specified. We offer a competitive salary up to £90,000 DOE, a £10,000 welcome bonus, relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package.

Salary: Up to £90,000 DOE

Work-Life Balance That Works for You

This full-time role averages 40 hours per week, including:

• Weekday nights and 1:2 weekends (mix of nights and days)
• Night shifts 1800-0900, Saturday day 1200-1830 and Sunday day 0830-1830
• Shared bank holidays
• No more than three consecutive nights
• Protected time for leadership duties and meetings
