Job summary

Compare the Market is seeking a Senior UX Designer to craft complex, end-to-end customer journeys in a hybrid setup based in London. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research and Content to deliver high-impact experiences and drive the adoption of AI in design while maintaining quality.

The role emphasizes hands-on design work, mentorship, and raising standards across the team in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Track record designing complex end-to-end journeys with measurable impact.
• Experience using AI tools in design workflows.
• Experience in agile teams and sprint planning.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and navigate ambiguity.
• Strong interaction and visual design, contributing to/migrating design systems.
• Fluency in Figma and research methods.
• Experience mentoring other designers.
• Experience in regulated or high-volume transactional journeys.
• Experience collaborating with content design and user research.

Responsibilities

• Design complex, business-critical customer journeys from framing the problem to evaluating outcomes.
• Participate in sprint planning to deliver work on time and to a high standard.
• Use AI tools to improve speed and quality while maintaining accessibility and accuracy.
• Define and measure customer and commercial success with Product and Analytics; drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on experience trade-offs for efficient delivery.
• Contribute to and adopt a new design system with accessibility and reuse in focus.
• Mentor and provide critique to other designers.
