Overview

Our client, a highly reputable surveying business delivering a wide range of Geospatial and Utility Surveying services across the South of England and London, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Utility Surveyor to join their expanding team. This role suits someone confident in working independently and leading projects, with strong technical skills in utility or topographical surveying disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and undertake a range of surveys including PAS 128, Topographical, Utility (GPR, Towed GPR), and Measured Building Surveys.
  • Manage and deliver projects to high standards - ensuring accuracy, safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Supervise and mentor junior and assistant surveyors where required.
  • Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project delivery.
  • Process and review survey data to produce high-quality outputs using relevant software and equipment (e.g. GPR, GPS, Total Station, Laser Scanners, etc.).
  • Ensure work is carried out in line with company and industry standards.
Job Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Senior Utility Surveyor or Senior Topographical Surveyor.
  • Strong technical understanding of survey methods and data capture (PAS 128, GPR, topographical, 3D laser scanning, or drainage).
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence essential.
