The Nottingham CityCare Urgent Treatment Centre is a Clinician-led service that provides assessment and treatment to people with urgent but not life‑threatening health problems.
This post will suit an enthusiastic, driven, motivated and flexible Registered Health Care Professional with demonstrable experience from working as an independent prescriber (V300) in an unplanned/urgent care environment. Applications are also encouraged from Emergency Care/Nurse Practitioners with V300 prescribing who are keen to gain additional experience with patients presenting with illnesses whilst working in an environment that also cares for patients presenting with minor injuries.
The Urgent Treatment Centre is a training environment where employed practitioners will support the development of all disciplines of health care professionals including student nurses, pharmacists, GP SpR, medical students and paramedics. The service is located at Seaton House which has recently undergone modernisation and has X‑ray facilities on site.
Informal visits to the UTC are most welcome.
There is a requirement for flexible 365‑day working with shift work covering 06:45am to 10pm daily. Full‑time and part‑time hours will be considered.
