Job summary

MS Amlin in London is seeking a Senior Underwriter - Professional Indemnity to lead and develop an international PI portfolio. You will take the lead on client relationships, broker partnerships and portfolio strategy within the Casualty franchise.

This role emphasises smart underwriting, sound risk judgment, and close collaboration with Claims and other teams to deliver client service and profitable growth. Hybrid working with office presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of the professional indemnity market and underwriting practices.
• Experience in UK/international markets with a strong London Market understanding.
• Strong analytical, numerical and risk assessment abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage PI business with brokers and clients.
• Lead on specific client portfolios within the Casualty framework.
• Develop portfolio strategies aligned to the business plan.
• Collaborate with Claims and other teams to deliver client experience.
• Ensure risks are written within approved parameters and controls.
