Markel Corporation is seeking a Senior Underwriter for Life Science across Leeds (Preferred), Manchester, or Birmingham with hybrid working. You will lead complex Life Science risks, develop underwriters, and shape underwriting strategy within a high-growth portfolio.

The role blends technical underwriting with broker relationships, leadership, and contribution to portfolio performance. We value Life Science expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong underwriting experience in Life Sciences, P&C, or Commercial Combined.
• Strong technical underwriting capability and commercial sense.
