The Role :

As a Senior Underwriter, you’ll play a key role in deciding which businesses get the funding they need. You’ll review proposals, check financials, and make clear, confident decisions that balance risk with opportunity.

Your day-to-day will include :

• Reviewing finance applications from SMEs via brokers.
• Looking at business financial statements and repayment ability.
• Making fair, timely decisions on whether to approve or decline applications.
• Keeping on top of your workload to meet agreed turnaround times.

What We’re Looking For :

• 3+ years’ experience in an underwriting position within financial services.
• Knowledge of business lending; experience within a business finance brokerage or lender is a bonus.
