Key Responsibilities

Underwriting :

• Develop, negotiate, and profitably underwrite new and existing business within delegated authority.
• Ensure underwriting decisions align with company strategy and risk appetite.
• Conduct audits and provide feedback, coaching and training as appropriate.

Customer & Broker Engagement :

• Provide embedded underwriting support and use the appropriate method of communication.
• Build strong relationships with brokers and clients, supporting the Company's niche markets.

Business Development :

• Maximise opportunities sourced by the Business Development team.
• Contribute to sustainable premium growth in core segments.

Operational Excellence :

• Plan, prioritise, and manage workload to meet agreed objectives.
• Support compliance, governance, and “right first time” service standards.
• Provide team manager support as and when required

Skills & Qualifications
