Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking band 7 sonographers to join the busy Ultrasound team across Hammersmith, Charing Cross and St Mary’s. The role involves delivering an extensive ultrasound service, reporting findings, and contributing to patient care within a supportive, multi-site environment.

You will train staff, maintain high standards, and participate in audits and governance while working with radiologists to ensure best practice and service development.

Qualifications

• BSc Radiography or DCR qualification and HCPC registration are essential.
• PgDip Medical Ultrasound and CPD evidence expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality ultrasound service across listed sites.
• Work as independent practitioner, perform scans, report findings and communicate with clinicians.
• Offer specialist advice on ultrasound service to colleagues.
• Train and supervise staff within the ultrasound unit.
• Contribute to department audits, research and clinical governance.
