Job summary

Sports Interactive Ltd is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (UI/UX) to shape Football Manager’s user interface across platforms. You will collaborate with production, design, QA and gameplay engineers to deliver quality UI features, drive the roadmap, and own UI tooling within Unity.

The role requires senior-level coding, mentoring of junior engineers, and strong communication while contributing to a team‑oriented, hybrid in‑studio environment at Here East, London.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of professional experience with C++ and C#.
• Professional experience using Unity is essential; Unity UI Toolkit is desired.
• Knowledge of Flexbox and CSS is desired.
• Experience in cross‑platform game development.
• Strong UI/UX design principles and user‑focused mindset.
• Ability to collaborate with UI/UX designers to build systems.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Knowledge of Football Manager is essential; interest in football is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex systems across platforms.
• Own codebase areas and develop new features end‑to‑end.
• Collaborate with leads to drive new features and roadmaps.
• Work across platforms to optimize performance and experience.
• Guide junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Maintain documentation, tooling, and development workflows.
• Partner with UX designers, QA, and production teams throughout the project.
