Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior UI Engineer to join a major banking transformation programme, delivering modern, responsive frontend applications in React within an Agile framework.

You will collaborate with backend and integration teams on enterprise data, including Loan IQ integrations, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve quality.

Qualifications

• Solid HTML5 and CSS skills.
• Experience building responsive web applications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
• Familiarity with Redux or similar state management.
• Experience with Loan IQ integrations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern, responsive frontend applications using React.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to architecture, design, and UI/UX discussions.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced frontend engineer who enjoys working in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging the latest AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality. You'll work closely with backend and integration teams, contributing to user-centric solutions that connect seamlessly with enterprise systems, including Loan IQ.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain modern, responsive frontend applications using React
• Build reusable UI components and deliver intuitive user experiences
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and enterprise data services
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to architecture, design, and UI/UX discussions
• Write high-quality, testable code and develop unit tests to ensure application reliability
• Support QA teams with troubleshooting, defect resolution, and testing activities
• Assist with frontend build, deployment, and CI/CD processes
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, debugging, and documentation workflows

What We're Looking For

• Solid HTML5 and CSS skills
• Experience building responsive, user-friendly web applications
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling
• Familiarity with state management tools such as Redux or similar frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Understanding of API-driven architectures and backend service integrations
• Exposure to enterprise integration concepts
• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka or MQ would be advantageous
• Experience with Loan IQ integrations, APIs, and data models is highly desirable
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins
• Experience using Git and modern branching strategies
• Understanding of automated build and deployment processes

AI-Assisted Development Experience

• Experience using AI-assisted developer tools such as GitLab Copilot or IDE-based copilots
• Familiarity with AI-driven approaches to:
  • Debugging and troubleshooting
