Job summary

Lead Technical Safety & Environmental Engineer is sought for a 12-month FEED contract in Surrey. You will head a TS&E team, coordinate safety deliverables, and ensure environmental compliance across FEED scope.

The role requires leading risk management and interfacing with multi-discipline teams, with a focus on FEED readiness and F&G and HAC deliverables. Requirements include a chemical/process safety/environmental engineering degree, strong oil & gas safety experience (FEED preferred),

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Safety, Environmental Engineering (or equivalent).
Strong safety background in oil & gas/energy projects (ideally FEED).
Experience leading safety deliverables and coordinating across disciplines.
Chartered status (CEng/IChemE or equivalent) desirable.
Confident communicator with stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and coordinate a TS&E team for FEED.
Own and review safety deliverables including F&G philosophy and layout reviews.
Review EERA inputs and actions; manage hazards analyses.
Interface with client and multi-discipline teams through FEED.
Provide risk management and ensure alignment with codes and project requirements.
Support environmental assessment activity and stakeholder inputs.
