Flexible/remote working in the UK
We are a leading UK environmental charity dedicated to protecting our ocean - defending crucial habitats, regenerating vital ecosystems and inspiring volunteers. We unite communities, governments, and industry, and champion science-based solutions for cleaner, healthier seas to tackle the climate and nature emergency.
We are currently looking for a Senior Trusts & Grants Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.
This is an incredible opportunity for a strategic and relationship-driven fundraising professional with experience of generating high-value donations and a great leadership style to join our inspiring and mission‑led organisation.
In this exciting and high-impact role, your expertise will help turn the tide on climate and nature loss, fuelling projects that regenerate vital marine ecosystems and champion a sustainable future.
On top of this, with the freedom to work from home and balance life's demands, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a remote‑first role while contributing to meaningful, globally recognised conservation work.
As the Senior Trusts & Grants Manager, you’ll play a leading role in securing significant funding to protect and restore our ocean.
You’ll cultivate high-value partnerships with key environmental funders and grant‑makers, creating high-level opportunities to drive income growth and fund work across our critical impact areas of ocean regeneration, water quality, and sustainable ocean use.
Developing compelling, multi‑year funding proposals, you’ll collaborate closely with conservation, policy, and engagement teams to craft strong, evidence-based cases for support.
Alongside managing and growing relationships with existing funders, you’ll proactively identify new grant‑making opportunities and nurture partnerships that will drive our future growth and impact and keep funders connected to our cause.
This role can be home‑based in the UK, however, occasional travel to external meetings and events, and to other office locations, including Edinburgh and London, is expected and may require overnight stays.
