Job summary

Depaul UK is seeking a Trusts and Foundations Manager to drive major funding across the UK. You will manage a portfolio of five and six-figure trust supporters, craft compelling funding proposals, and lead a small team to achieve KPIs and growth.

You’ll work with the Head of Philanthropy and Trusts to build a strong pipeline, secure multi-year gifts, and report impact to funders while fostering cross-team partnerships and rigorous record-keeping in Raiser's Edge.

Qualifications

• Track record delivering fundraising targets in excess of £500K.
• Proven bid writing experience with persuasive proposals.
• Excellent trust relationship management with funders.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Line management experience and team leadership.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of Fundraising Practice and Data Protection (Desirable).
• Experience with Raisers Edge NXT (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver against team objectives and KPIs for trust fundraising.
• Manage a portfolio of 5–6 figure trust funders and deepen relationships.
• Line manage two direct reports and conduct regular supervision.
• Collaborate with Head of Philanthropy to develop compelling cases for support.
• Develop a strong pipeline aligned to organisational priorities.
• Submit high-quality applications for large, multi-annual trusts.
• Oversee stewardship plans and retention-focused engagement.
• Represent the team at funder meetings and visits.
• Report progress to funders against grant requirements.
• Foster internal stakeholder relationships across the organisation.
