Job summary

An organization focused on survivor support in the UK is seeking a Senior Trauma Informed Therapist to deliver therapeutic services in prisons. The successful candidate will lead a team of therapists, manage clinical records, and uphold the values of transparency and inclusivity. Qualifications include a Masters in Counselling/Psychotherapy and registration with a relevant body. Experience with survivors of sexual harms, particularly male survivors, is essential. This role will be based on site within the prison environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant registration in therapy, such as BACP, UKCP, or BPS.
• Experienced in providing 1:1 counselling or psychotherapy.
• Ability to manage sensitive data in a confidential setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead peer mentoring support to trauma-informed therapists.
• Deliver trauma-informed therapeutic services.
• Maintain accurate clinical records for therapeutic interventions.
