I'm currently partnering with a fast-growing, people-focused transportation consultancy with offices across North America and Europe. The business is known for its integrated approach to transport strategy, planning and people‑movement design within complex built environments. They work in niche sectors, including Sports and Aviation. They are now seeking an experienced senior transportation professional to help shape the future of their expanding Houston team.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to step into a strategic and influential position within a small but growing U.S. group. You will work closely with the regional leadership team to guide long‑term growth, contribute your own ideas and expertise, and reinforce the excellent reputation the consultancy already holds internationally.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage a range of specialist transportation planning and engineering projects, operating with autonomy and independent judgement.
• Oversee multidisciplinary technical teams, ensuring high‑quality delivery across transportation assessments, masterplans, traffic/transport studies and technical reporting.
• Act as the senior point of contact for clients, design partners and external stakeholders.
• Take a proactive role in business development—cultivating existing relationships, establishing new ones, and preparing proposals.
• Represent the consultancy at conferences, seminars and industry networking events, helping identify new opportunities and elevate brand presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Urban Planning or related field.
• Master’s degree advantageous.
• PE license or AICP certification preferred.
