Job summary

Mattinson Partnership in Cambridge is seeking a Principal or Associate Transport Planner to lead a growing team on development and infrastructure projects. You will manage project delivery, build strong client relationships and mentor junior staff.

The role covers transport assessments, travel planning, modelling and environmental projects, with a collaborative, forward-thinking culture and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in transport planning, preferably in land development and planning.
• Proven ability to manage projects and deliver high-quality technical work.
• Ability to lead and support other transport professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, commercially aware and collaborative mindset.
• Interest in innovation, sustainable development and low-carbon transport.
• Degree or equivalent in transport planning, civil engineering, geography or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of projects from concept to completion and build client relationships.
• Manage transport assessments, strategies, travel plans and modelling.
• Contribute to development and infrastructure planning and multidisciplinary work.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders and manage project delivery.
• Mentor and support junior transport team members.
