Job summary

Mode Transport Planning seeks a Principal Transport Planner with extensive experience to lead delivery on diverse client projects in the private sector. The role involves coordinating travel plans, junction modelling, and site access assessments while collaborating with developers, landowners and contractors.

Applicants should have formal railway? no; hold civil engineering/geography/transport planning education, CIHT/ICE pursuit, and strong communication.

Qualifications

Formal education in Civil Engineering, Geography or Transport Planning.
Experience in development-focused transport planning.
Membership or pursuit of CIHT or ICE.
Excellent communication and high work ethic.
Accuracy, attention to detail and proactive, initiative-driven work.

Responsibilities

Prepare transport notes, statements and assessments, travel plans and site access appraisals.
Possess Travel Plan Coordinator experience.
Model junction capacity using ARCADY/PICADY.
Design traffic signals with LinSig.
Preliminary design of access and junction improvements using AutoCAD.
Perform Swept Path Analysis with AutoTrack.
Create high-quality graphics using GIS tools and Corel Draw.
Interacting with clients and contributing to bids and frameworks.
