Qualifications

• Proven Transport Management experience within UK or European road freight.
• UK and/or International CPC certification.
• Experience holding a Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Strong knowledge of transport compliance and driver hours regulations.
• Confident communicator able to lead and influence.

Responsibilities

• Manage full transport compliance, including driver hours and tachograph infringements.
• Lead, motivate, and develop HGV Class 1 drivers.
• Recruit, induct, and train drivers to a high professional standard.
• Maintain operational standards, handling disciplinaries if needed.
• Coordinate closely with operations teams to maximize driver and fleet utilization.
• Oversee vehicle availability and maintenance planning.
