A leading engineering firm in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Senior Consultant to join their Development Team specializing in Transport and Civil Engineering for Development Planning. You will manage various transport planning projects, providing essential support and guidance throughout the development process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a solid understanding of transport planning best practices. Qualifications

• A numerate first degree in Transport, Mathematics, Geography, Civil Engineering, Planning or a related subject.
• Experience as a lead client contact for consultancy services.
• Knowledge of transport planning guidance and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Support in delivering concept studies, Transport Statements, and Assessments.
• Manage relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Ensure projects are delivered to budget and technical standards.

Skills

Numerate degree in Transport, Mathematics, Geography, Civil Engineering or Planning

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of transport planning guidance

Experience in delivering transport planning projects

High level of numeracy and problem-solving skills

Experience in team management

Education
