In this role as Senior Transformation Project Manager (Transformation Work-stream Manager), you'll lead a dedicated workstream, collaborating closely with key partners and business stakeholders to deliver projects that meet our AMP8 and ODI commitments. Your focus will be on ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and with measurable benefits for the business.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead and Deliver: Take ownership of your workstream, managing projects from start to finish in line with our governance standards.
  • Collaborate and Influence: Work with Business Partners, SMEs, Sponsors, and Product Owners to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Drive Governance: Maintain robust documentation and adhere to pre-defined standards.
  • Shape the Future: Contribute to programme development, identify opportunities, manage risks, and support team growth.
  • Develop Talent: Lead and mentor a team of change professionals, fostering a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver projects to agreed time, cost, and quality standards.
  • Engage stakeholders effectively, ensuring smooth implementation and benefits realisation.
  • Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and issues to senior leadership.
  • Ensure benefits are identified, monitored, and sustained.Support the evolution of our Business Change methodology and share best practices across the organisation.
  • Be flexible to travel across sites and support local teams in implementing change.
HOW WE WORK

You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre in Coventry. With this being such a critical role, we're looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • A proven Programme Manager or experienced Project Manager with a track record of delivering sustainable change.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation.
  • Experienced in benefit identification and delivery planning.
  • Confident in developing business cases and simplifying complex concepts for decision‑making.
  • A natural leader who sets high standards and supports others to achieve them.
  • Project Management accreditation or relevant experience.
  • Full UK driving licence or ability to travel across our region.
  • Degree in a related discipline.
  • Safer, Better, Faster Practitioner or equivalent qualification.
HOW WE'LL REWARD AND CARE FOR YOU
  • Annual Salary of £50,000 - £59,000
  • 28 days holiday + bank holidays (and the ability to buy/sell up to 5 days per year)
