Newton is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead complex delivery transformation for public services, directing multi-disciplinary teams and accountable for delivering significant client value. You will manage large workstreams, govern programmes, and shape account outcomes with senior sponsors.

You will build trusted client relationships, develop your team, and spot opportunities for future work while working across health, local government, and central government sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large team (up to 8) and design workstreams with your line manager
• Lead programme governance, reporting, risk/issue management and stakeholder engagement
• Own part of an account plan and coordinate with other programme leads
• Steer analysis and modelling to identify opportunities and present data-driven narratives
• Develop and mentor your team, supporting career progression
• Identify opportunities for wider market and account engagement
• Provide leadership to senior clients and sponsors on project progress
• Ensure delivery products meet client expectations and outcomes
