Job summary

Channel 3 Consulting is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead transformation programmes within Local Government, focusing on adult and children’s services. You will partner with councils, align delivery with strategic aims, and ensure outcomes.

You will mentor teams, drive business development, and codify methodologies while shaping our go‑to‑market strategy and market visibility in the public sector. Remote/hybrid working options available.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Local Government Children’s Services, SEND, Education, and/or Adult Social Services.
• Proven track record delivering transformation in local authority services.
• Strong consulting toolkit: problem-solving, programme management, communication.
• Credibility with senior stakeholders and track record in account growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead large projects or multi‑workstream programmes that improve outcomes across local authority children’s and adult’s services.
• Deliver impact across the transformation journey: diagnostic, transformation, assurance and lasting impact.
• Quality assure delivery, establish governance and unblock issues.
• Lead engagements as senior Delivery Lead with time, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Mentor and develop consulting talent and high‑performing teams.
