Job summary

Vesta Software Group is seeking a dedicated Transactional Specialist to join the finance team in a high growth organisation. Based in Wallingford with possible UK travel, you will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, match invoices, resolve discrepancies, and support ERP/CRM systems.

The role supports multiple business units within the portfolio. You will interact with non-financial managers, work in a casual environment, and develop reporting alongside the Divisional Finance Manager.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification would be advantageous.
• Previous experience in transactional functions.
• Commercial acumen and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent IT skills including a high level of Excel.
• Experience of Microsoft Great Plains and Concur software would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Match supplier invoices to purchase orders/goods received and ensure proper authorisation and booking in the accounting system.
• Resolve discrepancies and supplier queries.
• Ensure timely delivery of customer invoicing, supplier invoices, expenses and other transactional tasks.
• Complete month end tasks and handovers to management accountants.
