Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is looking for Traction Power professionals at senior levels to support rail electrification services. The ideal candidate will have experience in Traction Power Systems design and will be involved in producing and reviewing design deliverables across rail projects.

An emphasis is placed on mentorship and managing client relationships, as well as supporting technical assurance and risk reviews. Candidates should be proactive, analytical, and possess leadership potential.

Qualifications

• Experience acting as Network Rail Project Engineer or supporting Network Rail PE duties.
• Experience in mainline, light rail, and metro electrification power systems.
• Traction Power System Modelling experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce, check or review Traction Power design deliverables.
• Support technical assurance and design reviews.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Early Career Professionals.
• Act as Contractor’s Responsible Engineer.
