Job summary

Avon is hiring a Toxicologist II to assess product safety across cosmetics and personal care. You will work with cross-functional teams to evaluate safety data, prepare safety dossiers, and support launches while ensuring compliance with regional safety standards.

The role involves literature reviews, safety data interpretation, and collaboration with Regulatory teams to apply regional requirements. A Master’s in Toxicology or related field and 3–5 years of industry experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Toxicology, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
• 3–5 years experience in product safety, toxicology, regulatory affairs, clinical studies, R&D, or related function.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product safety and risk assessments for new and existing products.
• Review scientific literature and safety data to support product development decisions.
• Prepare safety dossiers, reports, and documentation for product approvals.
• Partner with global regulatory teams to apply regional safety requirements.
• Assess toxicology and clinical testing needs for products in development.
• Support product launches with timely safety recommendations.
• Collaborate on cross-functional safety projects and industry initiatives.
• Work with R&D, Regulatory, and Product Development teams.
