A leading surveying firm is seeking a Senior Topographical Surveyor for a hybrid role. Responsibilities include conducting land and building surveys, managing projects, and ensuring quality and safety compliance. Candidates should have strong knowledge of surveying equipment and software along with excellent communication skills. Freedom Professional Services are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Topographical Surveyor. This is a hybrid role based from site, home and our office based in and around the Stowmarket region.
You will be able to demonstrate a responsible approach to quality and health & safety management. This includes knowledge of compiling risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), and knowledge of lone working processes. Consideration will be given to candidates without a degree if they can demonstrate exceptional working knowledge.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD and survey processing software is essential and experience of laser scanning would also be beneficial. We would expect candidates to possess excellent communication skills and have experience of dealing with client requirements and delivery of projects to varying specifications. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to become an important part of our survey department with firm foundations.
