Job summary

Intact Insurance in London/Horsham is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to produce high quality intelligence that informs how the organisation anticipates, detects, and responds to modern cyber threats. You will shape the Cyber Defence strategy and guide threat hunting, SOC priorities and offensive security efforts with a realistic risk picture.

The role involves translating complex intel into actionable insights for detection engineering, threat hunting and exposure management,

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of modern threat actor behaviour, intrusion techniques and cyber-attack trends.
• Demonstrable experience producing intelligence across tactical, operational and strategic levels.
• Ability to correlate open-source intelligence, commercial feeds, SOC data and internal telemetry to form clear, actionable insights.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, intrusion analysis frameworks and structured analytic techniques.

Job description

Location: London or Horsham

Role Purpose:

The Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst is responsible for producing high quality intelligence that directly informs how Intact anticipates, detects, and responds to modern cyber threats..

This role provides strategic and operational insight that shapes the entire Cyber Defence strategy. Your intelligence will guide threat hunting, influence SOC detection priorities, support cyber improvement programmes, and ensure offensive security activities focus on realistic and relevant threats. You will help the wider business understand emerging risks to Intact, our customers, and our Important Business Services.

In this role, you'll make an impact by:

• Produce high quality tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence assessments focused on relevant threat actors, sectors, and emerging techniques.
