Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic therapeutic radiographer to join our radiotherapy team at Southampton General Hospital. You will lead a busy linear accelerator service, delivering patient-centred radiotherapy with multidisciplinary colleagues.

The role covers day-to-day workload management, on-call duties for MSCC at weekends, and opportunities to work across pre-treatment, DXR and brachytherapy suites in a modern, supportive department.

Qualifications

• Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or Diploma of College of Radiographers.
• State registration with HCPC.
• Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
• Experience of a wide variety of Radiotherapy techniques & equipment.
• Ability to communicate with wide range of people.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of radiotherapy treatment.
• Calculate and record radiotherapy treatments accurately.
• Be responsible for the well-being and care of patients during their radiotherapy.
