Job summary

White Trees Group, part of SureCare Residential Ltd, seeks a Senior Therapeutic Project Worker to provide therapeutic care in a residential setting for young people in Essex. You will supervise key workers, ensure high-quality paperwork, and maintain safe, structured environments in line with trauma-informed approaches.

The role requires Level 3 QCF qualification and experience in children's residential care, with a calm, empathetic leadership style and strong boundary setting.

Qualifications

• Level 3 QCF qualification and experience as a support worker in a children's residential setting.
• Calm and grounded, with ability to set clear boundaries.
• Supportive team player who leads with empathy and kindness.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary basic care and a nurturing environment reflecting therapeutic practice.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed daily to high standard.
• Maintain firm, consistent boundaries to create safety for young people.
• Oversee key workers and support their development.
• Review Care Plan updates to reflect current needs.
• Review Risk Assessments and Positive Behaviour Plans for currency.
• Liaise with other professionals (schools, social services) as needed.
• Organise and manage house shifts, day-to-day delegation.
