Job Summary

Senior Theatre Practitioner – Scrub Nurse at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital. Full‑time (37.5 hours per week), permanent, salary up to £42,500 per annum, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Work on a varied caseload using state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
  • Supervise, support and develop junior team members.
  • Deliver high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective, evidence‑based and appropriate.
  • Receive training as a Surgical First Assistant, or be prepared to undertake the training with Nuffield Health.
  • Complete clinical audits where appropriate – full training will be provided.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High levels of focus, engagement and meticulous eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team‑work approach.
  • Motivated, flexible and committed to promoting evidence‑based practice within own scope.
  • Ability to engage with colleagues at all levels across the hospital and contribute to achieving hospital goals within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Registered with HCPC (or relevant governing body) and professional registration.
