Job summary

Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital is seeking a Senior Theatre Practitioner (RGN/ODP) to join our team in Haywards Heath. This permanent, full-time role offers up to £50,000 per annum dependent on experience and a 37.5 hour week.

You will be HCPC registered with post-registration perioperative experience, and you will lead theatre activity while delivering compassionate, high‑quality care in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must be HCPC registered.
• Post-registration experience in perioperative care.
• Focused, flexible and motivated team worker.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise patient safety, take appropriate actions and encourage colleagues to report safety concerns.
• Promote a safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff in line with policies.
• Support governance activity to ensure compliance with Quality governance framework and national standards.
• Lead care delivery, treating patients, families and colleagues with dignity and compassion.
• Collaborate with clinicians within the Hospital to enhance patient care and service delivery.
• Take charge of a theatre, coordinating and delivering work activities and leading junior practitioners.
