Senior Testing & Commissioning Manager

One of our client is a leading building services contractor based in London & Ireland with offices across the UK that work in the commercial construction sector that specialise in the Mechanical & Electrical installations of new build Schools, University Buildings, Hospitals, Factory units.

• Atend pre-construction meetings and compile and project ITP Pre-construction review project ITP
• Assist in compiling project t-drive test folder
• Provide information for project t-drive test folder updates
• Manage all project test activities
• Manage all project testing resources
• Ensure testing and commissioning of LV installation is as testing procedure, ESSW, BS7671, GN3 Inspection of LV fixed wiring installation for compliance with BS7671 Inspection of emergency lighting installation for compliance with BS5266 Monitor ESSW and procedures are being followed
• Monitor testing availability and progress against project completion programme Monitor testing costs
• Review and approve test results within electronic test folder Consult with designer and project team where results are outside parameters Provide the information /update project trackers - sub mains, sub circuits, earthing, ATS & dashboard Monitor inputting of test resultdss onto the project t-drive
• Manage the updating of fixed and modular wiring testing schedules and test sheets Monitor and review QA documents, including DB check sheets, installation reports and snag sheets
• Manage inspection of switchgear and installation methods
• Manage and co-ordinate Fixed Wiring, Earthing Modular wiring testing with programme and project trades Monitor project Gateway tracker ids being completed
• Monitor project schematics to mensure they are up to date and accurate
• Oversee protective devise settings against selectivity study Oversee torque of connections to manufacturers required levels Monitor request for power and documentation issue
• Monitor request for isolation and documentation issue
• Review and manage specialist sub contractors requirements Monitor LOTO procedure as ESSW
• Monitor key procedure
• Monitor Permit issue and review of task RAMS ii compliant Monitor security of areas
• Monitor inspection of switchgear and installation methods - review FAT & SAT documentation Ensure availability and compliance of test equipment and test leads Review handover packs from CM
• Review inspection reports issued to the project team
• Review snags & non compliant items issued to project team Monitor closed out of snags and non-compliant items issueed to the project team Manage client witnessing of LV fixed & modular wiring test results Review information for NICEIC completion certification
• Attend project commissioning meetings
• Manage and provide client training
• Collate emergency lighting point of test drawings
• Collate emergency lighting logs
• Collate all emergency lighting information and documentation as BS5266
