Job summary

Government Commercial Agency (GCA) is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to develop reusable automation frameworks, execute automated and manual testing, and contribute to the wider testing strategy within Agile Scrum teams. The role focuses on integrating QA activities, collaborating with stakeholders, and advancing testing tools and technologies across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience as a Test Engineer across multiple programmes and testing stages.
• Experience creating automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Proficiency with Java or Ruby for automated tests and Selenium-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify functional and non-functional testing requirements with stakeholders.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks to support diverse testing activities.
• Execute automated and manual testing; report risks and issues; drive quality improvements.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and introduce new testing tools and technologies.
