Responsibilities

• Analyse software and systems testing data across multiple engineering domains.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency and traceability within JIRA tooling.
• Identify trends, patterns, anomalies and risks within testing datasets.
• Prepare high-quality datasets for reporting and management insight.
• Produce clear weekly reporting suitable for senior and top-level management.
• Work closely with engineering and quality stakeholders.
• Interpret complex data to determine key messages and actions.
• Support project planning through data-driven insights.
• Coach and guide users on best practice around tooling and data consistency.

We’re supporting a major UK-based engineering organisation with the search for a Senior Data Analytics Specialist to support software and systems testing programmes across multiple engineering domains.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, testing and development, with a strong focus on ensuring the integrity, consistency and usability of testing data created within JIRA and visualised through Tableau.

You’ll play a key role in transforming complex datasets into meaningful insight, supporting senior stakeholders with clear reporting and enabling data-driven decision making.
