Job summary

Southern Water group is seeking a Lead Technology Architect to shape strategy and provide architectural leadership across IT and OT domains. You will guide platform evolution, governance, and secure, scalable solutions in a hybrid environment.

Working within the Digital Architecture team, you will translate business objectives into actionable roadmaps, lead solution designs, and influence key decisions across infrastructure, cloud, and security domains.

Qualifications

Extensive IT architecture experience across IT/OT domains.
Leads design of technology solutions across infrastructure and cloud.
Defines infrastructure patterns and services to support scalable platforms.
Develops and maintains strategic technology roadmaps.
Applies governance to architecture decisions for consistency and reuse.
Experience evaluating emerging technologies to inform direction.

Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Planning – translate objectives into architecture roadmaps for infra, cloud, security, OT.
Solution Architecture – shape designs meeting business needs with scalability and supportability.
Infrastructure Design – evolve patterns for hybrid cloud, identity, endpoint management, and virtualization.
Enterprise IT Governance – participate in governance forums for assurance across domains.
Technology Research – monitor emerging tech for impact on Southern Water’s landscape.
Leadership – provide technical leadership across architecture domains and guide teams.
