Role : Sr. Technology Architect

Technology : Data Modelling, ERWIN Modelling, Azure Architect, PySpark

Location : UK (London)

Data Architect should have key understanding of building Data Models, Experience in Data Architecting and Engineering space on Spark, Pyspark, ADF, Azure Synapse and Data Lake.

Your role

In the role of a Sr Technology Architect, you will primarily be responsible for identifying best‑fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; develop design of application, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution and execution.

As a thought and solution leader, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client discussions, in‑house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value‑adding solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Define the overall data architecture strategy aligned with business transformation goals
  • Design scalable, secure, and integrated data models / assets
  • Define and build Data Modelling and architecture Framework.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance across all assets
  • Experience developing and deploying data intensive application across multiple projects
  • Involve in Discovery / solution planning discussions to define the solution roadmap.
  • Guide the integration of legacy systems with new data pipelines and reporting/Analytics tools
Required
  • Should have minimum 14-15 years of experience in Information Technology with 7-8 years in technical design and architecting solutions.
  • 7+ years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks, Data Modelling, Experience on ERWIN Modelling.
  • 7+ years of hands‑on experience in ADF, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Spark, PySpark, Python/Scala, SQL.
  • Hands on Experience in Designing and building Data Lake from Multiple Source systems/Data Providers.
  • Experience on Data Modelling, architecture, implementation & Testing.
  • Experienced in designing & implementation of End‑to‑End Data Engineering process using Azure Data Engineering Technologies for distributed systems.
  • Hands‑on experience in data ingestion from various structured & unstructured data sources and also on Batch & Real‑Time ingestion.
  • Good understanding of maintaining Security for cloud applications.
  • Experience in Clustering & providing performance improvement ideas.
  • Experience in interacting with business customers, IT personnel and members of the IT management team.
  • Good understanding of different project management methodologies including agile and waterfall.
  • Possesses outstanding analytical and conceptual thinking skills, ability to influence partners and work closely with them to resolve acceptable solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle.
  • Knowledge on data governance, quality, and compliance across all assets.
  • Working knowledge of application and system availability, scalability, and distributed data platforms.
  • Should have excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
  • Should have excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • Responsible for mentoring team members.
  • Nice to have understanding of APIs and how to use them.
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
