Senior Technologist / Solutions Architect - DevSecOps

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technologist / Solutions Architect with deep expertise in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Infrastructure Architecture, primarily within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology vision and practical execution.
This ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in solution delivery, product development, and modern engineering practices such as DevSecOps, SRE, and shift-left delivery. You will play a pivotal role in driving modernization through automation, developer platform initiatives (IDP), and AI-driven development models, while collaborating effectively with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.

The Role:

• Lead cloud infrastructure architecture and solution delivery across Azure and hybrid environments.
• Define and execute DevOps, DevSecOps, and SRE strategies to ensure scalability, automation, and operational excellence.
• Drive innovation by defining and implementing AI-driven SDLC models to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and predictability.
• Serve as a strategic and visionary leader for Internal Developer Portals (IDP) or equivalent developer enablement platforms.
• Champion engineering best practices, including shift-left approaches for quality, security, and reliability.
• Apply deep understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies to optimize delivery efficiency and collaboration.
• Implement drift engineering to manage configuration consistency and compliance across environments.
• Architect and manage containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Apply design patterns, version control, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles for scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with C-suite leaders and senior stakeholders to align technology strategies with enterprise goals.
• Provide thought leadership in emerging areas such as AI, GenAI, automation frameworks, and cloud-native design.
• Mentor engineering teams and promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.
• Ensure clear stakeholder management, communication, and alignment across business and technical functions.

What you will bring:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Enterprise Architecture roles.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale cloud solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (AWS or GCP experience a plus).
• Deep understanding of DevOps, DevSecOps, and SRE principles.
• Strong expertise in solution delivery, SDLC, and Agile product development.
• Proven success leading shift-left initiatives for quality, security, and reliability.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development, AIOps, and intelligent automation frameworks.
• Excellent understanding of enterprise architecture, design patterns, and system scalability.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with technical and executive audiences.
• Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management, mentorship, and technical leadership.

Nice to have Qualifications:

• Exposure to AI, GenAI, or agentic solutioning for platform intelligence and productivity.
• Experience designing or managing Internal Developer Portals (IDP) or developer experience platforms.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert / DevOps Engineer Expert.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Proven success in driving automation-first and shift-left transformations across large enterprises.
