Job summary

A leading quantum technology company in England is seeking a Senior Technician to oversee lab operations, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for cutting-edge quantum experiments. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical environments, lead risk assessments, and manage vendor relationships to keep the labs operational. This role requires onsite work and may include international travel.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to keep complex labs and workshops running safely and smoothly.
• Experience implementing safe working practices and leading risk assessments.
• Comfortable delivering technical work independently across labs, workshops, and data centres.

Responsibilities

• Organise and schedule key laboratory equipment for experiments.
• Build and maintain safe operating processes.
• Manage relationships with specialist vendors and coordinate service visits.
• Ensure cryolabs and workshops stay safe, clean, and operational.
• Document health & safety standards and ensure compliance.
