Tetra Tech in Cockermouth is seeking a Senior Technician to deliver civil and structural engineering drawings with Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD. You’ll work with engineers and other disciplines to produce buildable designs and ensure compliance with standards.

Senior Technician – Civil & Structural Engineering

Purpose & Scope of the Role

As a Senior Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality civil and structural engineering design information. Using Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD, you’ll produce accurate, coordinated technical drawings that meet project requirements, comply with relevant standards and support successful project delivery.

Your Impact in this position

You’ll help turn engineering concepts into practical, buildable solutions, ensuring drawing quality, consistency and compliance throughout project delivery. Working closely with engineers and other disciplines, you’ll contribute to efficient design coordination, share best practice and help maintain the high technical standards our projects demand.

• Technical Drawing Production: Create clear, accurate civil and structural engineering drawings using Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

You’ll bring relevant civil or structural engineering technician experience, with practical proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD. A strong understanding of technical drawing standards, quality assurance and multidisciplinary design coordination will help you succeed. A relevant technical qualification and a commitment to ongoing professional development would be beneficial.
