A leading construction firm in the UK is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to oversee the technical writing team and develop proposals for the Sizewell C project. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience in civil engineering, ensuring that team deliverables meet project standards. The Sizewell C (SZC) project requires a Senior Technical Writer to support and develop the engineering solutions, methods, programme and Target Outturn Cost during the preconstruction phase, and support and lead the Technical Writers. The role is aimed at supporting the technical, pricing and programme submissions that forms the agreed works to be delivered by the Civil Works Alliance (CWA). The prime area of focus is to develop compelling technical proposals in support of the Target Outturn Cost (TOC) and supporting information.
Reporting to Pre-Construction Lead. Member of team who is able to deputise for the Pre-Construction Lead if needed. The person will have the ability to manage and control technical writing team and ensure that there are sufficient teams of personnel assigned to commissions.
