Job summary

A leading international service provider in the energy industry is seeking a Senior Technical Safety Engineer in Aberdeen. This role involves delivering and supporting technical safety engineering efforts, updating operational safety documentation, and participating in crucial safety workshops. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant engineering degree, demonstrate strong safety engineering skills, and possess robustness in data interpretation and Microsoft applications.

Qualifications

• Relevant Engineering Degree (BEng/BSc minimum) required.
• Necessary certification for travel offshore preferred.
• Decommissioning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Technical Safety Engineering expertise and support the Lead Technical Safety Engineer.
• Manage updates to the operational safety case documentation.
• Participate in safety workshops (HAZOP, SIL/LOPA, HAZID).
