Wise is hiring a Senior Recruiter to partner with hiring leads and scale our engineering organization. You will attract, hire, and retain top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience across a global team.

You will own recruitment strategies, manage the full lifecycle from sourcing to closing, and use data to optimize processes for automation and scalability, with a focus on long-term impact.

Job Description

The Role

As a Senior Recruiter, you'll partner with hiring Leads to scale our engineering organization- ensuring we attract, hire, and retain top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Operating as a key driver within our global team, you'll bring a growth mindset, be data-driven, and leverage your proven experience in strong execution towards goals and deliverables. You will act as a trusted role model for excellent business partnership, helping build the cross-functional squads and tribes that power our global infrastructure.

Your Mission

• Strategic Ownership: Partner directly with business stakeholders to design and own recruitment strategies, leveraging your deep market and domain knowledge to hire quality candidates at the right time and location.
• End-to-End Delivery: Autonomously manage the full candidate lifecycle from sourcing to closing, tackling complex hiring challenges along the way.
• Candidate Storytelling: Craft a compelling narrative so candidates receive a best-in-class experience aligned with Wise values- ensuring every candidate feels valued, even if the right role comes up later down the line.
• Data-Driven & Scalable Process: Use data to back hiring recommendations, retro processes, unblock hiring bottlenecks, and continuously optimize for automation and global scalability.
• Long-Term Impact: Proactively identify and solve complex problems while driving recruitment initiatives with a 6+ month horizon.

Your Skills & Attributes

• Domain & Value Evaluation: Proven track record of hiring top talent across Software Engineering (Front-End, Back-End, Mobile, Platform, Leadership). You look beyond resumes to spot candidates who deeply align with our culture and values.
• Agility & Adaptability: Highly autonomous self-starter comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-changing workloads. You actively adopt emerging HR tech, automate processes, and work smart to keep things moving at pace.
• Creative Problem Solver: Resilient and curious. Tricky roles and unfamiliar tech stacks don't slow you down- they inspire you to test new sourcing channels and try fresh approaches.
• Data-Driven & Strategic: You systematically use data to uncover hiring blockers, optimize scalable processes, and back up your hiring recommendations.
• Communication & Collaboration: Expert stakeholder manager who uses storytelling and data to build trust, flex across audiences, and foster partnerships across the entire organization.
